I’m Darcy, a professional pet portrait artist based in the New Forest, Hampshire, UK. I specialise in drawing highly detailed portraits, using the highest quality artist coloured pencils. Every stroke of hair is carefully and meticulously hand-drawn to bring out the unique personality and charm of your beloved pets. 

The coloured pencils I use allow for incredible precision, rich textures, and vibrant tones, giving me the control I need to capture the intricate details of your pet’s fur, eyes, and expressions. My artwork is something I am incredibly passionate about, having practised and honed my skills for over 4 years. I enjoy the lengthy process of building up layers through every pencil stroke. The level of detail in every one of my pieces is why my work is so well respected, and is the reason I am lucky to have so many wonderful testimonials from my clients. 

I am a completely self-taught artist. The first time I gave pet portraiture was during the pandemic of 2020, and I have never put a pencil down since! I believe that my natural ability allows for my pieces to feel natural, authentic and characterful.
